⏱️ ~30 min 🧺 2 min setup · pretend· animals

🧺 Materials

  • 2 stuffed animals or sock puppets
  • a comfy spot to sit

📋 Instructions (parent)

  1. Choose two stuffed animals or puppets and give each one a fun voice.
  2. Act out a little problem with the puppets: both want the same toy, or one puppet feels sad and left out.
  3. Pause and ask your child: '¿Qué harías tú?' to help the puppets find a good and kind choice.
  4. Try out your child's idea with the puppets and show how the problem gets better.
  5. Act out one or two more small problems, like sharing a snack or saying sorry after a bump.
  6. Praise their kind, smart choices: '¡Qué buena idea! Fuiste muy amable.'

➕ Extension ideas

  • Let your child invent the puppet problem and ask you '¿Qué harías tú?' so they lead the game.
  • When a real small problem comes up during the day, ask the same gentle question: '¿Qué podemos hacer?'
