Objective: Identify and build two-dimensional shapes using pillows and cushions while naming them in Spanish.
🧺 Materials
- bed pillows
- couch cushions
- a blanket
📋 Instructions (parent)
- Gather pillows and cushions in an open space.
- Arrange pillows on the floor to form a big shape like a triangle.
- Name the shape together in Spanish and count its sides.
- Build a new shape, like a square or circle, and walk around its outline.
- Step inside your shapes and pretend they are rooms or islands.
➕ Extension ideas
- Lay pillows to spell the first letter of your child's name.
- Make a shape and have your child hop along each side as you count.
