Objective: Identify and build two-dimensional shapes using pillows and cushions while naming them in Spanish.

  • bed pillows
  • couch cushions
  • a blanket

📋 Instructions (parent)

  1. Gather pillows and cushions in an open space.
  2. Arrange pillows on the floor to form a big shape like a triangle.
  3. Name the shape together in Spanish and count its sides.
  4. Build a new shape, like a square or circle, and walk around its outline.
  5. Step inside your shapes and pretend they are rooms or islands.

➕ Extension ideas

  • Lay pillows to spell the first letter of your child's name.
  • Make a shape and have your child hop along each side as you count.
