Objective: Child strengthens fine motor control and the pincer grasp by tearing paper and threading items onto a string.
🧺 Materials
- colored paper or magazines
- yarn or a shoelace
- dry pasta with holes or cut straws
- glue stick
- paper for the collage
📋 Instructions (parent)
- Show your child how to tear paper into small pieces with their fingers.
- Glue the torn pieces onto a sheet to make a colorful collage.
- Thread pasta or cut straws onto yarn to make a bracelet or necklace.
- Name each action in Spanish as your child tears, glues, and threads.
- Display the finished collage and bracelet and celebrate the work.
➕ Extension ideas
- Use safety scissors to snip fringes on the edges of the paper.
- Sort the pasta by color before threading and count each one in Spanish.

Vamos a hacer arte con las manos. Rasga el papel en pedacitos chiquitos y pégalos aquí. Después ensarta la pasta en el hilo para hacer una pulsera bonita. ¡Rasga, pega y ensarta despacio con tus deditos!
