Objective: Invent a make-believe story together by pulling surprise objects from a box and weaving them into a tale.
🧺 Materials
- a box or bag
- 3-5 small random household objects (toy, spoon, sock, ball)
📋 Instructions (parent)
- Secretly fill a box with a few small objects so they are a surprise.
- Have your child reach in and pull out one object without looking.
- Start a story in Spanish using that object as the first part, then pause.
- Let your child pull the next object and add what happens next to the story.
- Keep taking turns adding to the story until the box is empty, then say 'the end' together.
- Retell the whole silly story from the beginning together.
➕ Extension ideas
- Draw a picture of the favorite part of your invented story.
- Act out the story with the objects as the characters.
