Objective: Strengthen listening comprehension by following two-step spoken directions in Spanish.
🧺 Materials
- open floor space
📋 Instructions (parent)
- Stand together in an open space where you can both move freely.
- Give a two-part direction in Spanish, like 'jump and then clap.'
- Do the action together the first few times so your child hears and sees both steps.
- Gradually let your child do the two steps on their own while you only say the words.
- Cheer after each success, then let your child give YOU a two-step command.
➕ Extension ideas
- Add a third step once two steps feel easy.
- Use objects: 'pick up the spoon and then put it in the cup' for real-world directions.
