Objective: Child recognizes and names target Spanish letters hidden around the room.
🧺 Materials
- index cards or paper cut into squares
- a marker
- tape
📋 Instructions (parent)
- Write 5 to 8 big letters on cards, repeating a couple so there are pairs to find.
- While the child covers their eyes, tape the letter cards in easy spots around the room.
- Call out a letter name in Spanish and have the child run to find that letter.
- When they find it, have them name the letter and make its sound before bringing it to you.
- Keep going until all letters are found, then lay them out and cheer each one named.
➕ Extension ideas
- Match found letters into pairs like a memory game.
- Have the child hide the letters and call them out for you to find.
