📖 Animal Sound Hunt

🧺 Materials

None needed — just the two of you.

📋 Instructions (parent)

1. Have your child name any animal they love (real or pretend).
2. Ask them to say the animal name slowly and stretch out the very first sound (e.g., 'g-g-gato').
3. Together, decide what letter makes that first sound.
4. Let your child 'draw' the letter in the air, on their leg, or on a foggy window with a finger.
5. Repeat with 3-4 more animals, letting your child pick each one.

➕ Extension ideas

• Ask your child to draw one of the animals afterward and label it with its beginning letter.
• Turn it into a game: you say the sound, and your child guesses which animal you're thinking of.
